The Ultimate Cannabis Chocolate Chip Cookies

Is there anything better than a homemade chocolate chip cookie?! And trust me, these aren't like the ones grandma used to make. This dough also freezes well, so you can make an extra batch and enjoy freshly baked cookies any time.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons cannabis butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2.5 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2.5 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk together and set aside.
  • Melt regular butter and cannabis butter together
  • Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla. Then, pour melted butter mixture over and beat well.
  • Add eggs one at a time and beat until creamy.
  • Gradually add flour mixture and stir until just combined.
  • Gently stir in chocolate chips by hand.
  • Drop cookies by large rounded tablespoon onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.

Notes

I like to bake with dark chocolate chips, but semi-sweet is also a great choice!
Makes 4 dozen cookies. Approximate serving size = 1 cookie.
