Costco sells some AMAZING cinnamon bread, but since I’m trying to avoid going to the store right now, we’re going to make our own! I only had oat milk on hand when I made this recipe, so instead of using infused milk I stirred in 1 tablespoon of melted cannabis butter. Either will work!
Cinnamon Swirl Bread
Equipment
- Oven
- Loaf pan
- Stand or hand mixer
Ingredients
For the bread
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup cannabis infused milk
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
For the cinnamon swirl
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
For the glaze
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 – 3 teaspoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray loaf pan with nonstick spray or line with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder salt and sugar in a small bowl, and set aside.
- Beat together egg, milk, vanilla and Greek yogurt in a large bowl. Add flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Make cinnamon swirl ingredients by mixing together sugar, cinnamon and butter in a small bowl.
- Pour half of the bread batter into the prepared loaf pan, and sprinkle on half of the cinnamon mixture. Then, pour in the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture. Use a knife to gently swirl it into the batter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes on wire rack.
- While cooling, make glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and milk. Once the bread is mostly cooled, drizzle the glaze over and ENJOY!
