What better way to celebrate National Grilled Cheese Day than with this infused pizza and grilled cheese combo? We’re kicking up a regular grilled cheese with some savory pepperonis and Italian seasoning. Don’t worry, it still has everything you love about a classic grilled cheese like a crispy outer shell and ooey gooey melted cheese.
Cannabis Pepperoni Pizza Grilled Cheese
- Stove top
- Large saute pan with lid
- 2 slices bread
- 4 mozzarella cheese slices
- 1 tablespoon shredded Parmesan cheese
- pinch of Italian seasoning
- 9 thin slices pepperoni
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon cannabis butter
- marinara sauce for dipping optional
- Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Stir the cannabis butter and regular butter to combine and spread evenly on both sides of the bread. Place slices in the pan.
- Let slices cook until just golden and flip.
- Layer mozzarella cheese slices, 9 slices pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
- Turn heat down to low and cover pan with a lid.
- Cook 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Join the two sides of the sandwich, and serve!
